Olympia Courts takes centre stage at one of Asia’s biggest sporting events, delivering a premium padel experience at the Hong Kong Rugby Sevens 2026. Featuring a full panoramic M25 court with AirPadel platform, this installation marked a major milestone in bringing padel to a global audience.
About the project
For the Hong Kong Rugby Sevens, Olympia Courts installed a Panoramic M25 court integrated with the AirPadel platform, engineered for fast deployment and high-performance play in a high-traffic event environment.
The court was fitted with professional Philips lighting systems to ensure optimal visibility across day and night sessions, alongside 10mm premium turf designed for consistent ball response, durability, and player safety.
This activation hosted the APPT Asia Pacific Padel Tour – Hong Kong Grand Slam Platinum, attracting the best players across Asia and delivering a tournament atmosphere at an international standard.
Over 113,000 attendees across three days, this project achieved a key milestone for the sport, placing padel in one of the most visible and high-impact sporting stages in Asia. By integrating padel within a globally recognised rugby event, the project successfully introduced the sport to a new and diverse audience.
This collaboration was made possible through the support of Matthew Rosslee, Bryan Rennie, and the Hong Kong Rugby Union team, helping position padel as a growing force within the global sports industry.
